We're home!!!!!!

We are home!!!!  It took me a while to post again because well.....we were TIRED!!  On the way home from the airport from Wednesday I got sick!  I think I may have gotten food poisoning from the airplane food.  I stayed very good friends with my bathroom that day.  Because of that, Erik had to take care of Hannah.  It worked out well because it made her cling to him because she couldn't get to me.  It gave them some good bonding time.  It took us several days to know what day it was.  We walked around like zombies the first few days.  Hannah had her days and night mixed up and wanted to stay awake all night!!  Not good when you're as tired as we were!!  Every night is better though.  She is sleeping better.
Her birthday was yesterday.  She turned 2 years old.  We will have family over this weekend for a small birthday party to celebrate her arrival home and her birthday.  Anslee and Nana have made big plans.  :)  She is such a  joy to us already and we love her very much!
Jonah and Anslee have been adjusting well to her.  Anslee thought that Hannah should just come right in, go to their room, and play together all afternoon.  She didn't understand that Hannah didn't know all the people here, didn't know where she was, or even what to do with all those toys.  They have been very patient with her so far and Anslee is a big help!  She helps me bathe her every night and she likes to pick out her clothes. Jonah is a good big brother.  He watches after her and makes sure she is not getting into anything she's not supposed to.  I am very thankful that Hannah is bonding with the kids so well.
I have a lot of pictures and I will post them soon.  We have to get them pulled from phones and cameras and uploaded.  :)  Thanks for the phone calls, emails, prayers, and words of encouragement!  The process is not over simply because we are home and we continue to cherish your prayers for our family!

China...Day...I don't even remember!! :)

We have had a busy few days!  Thursday we went to the Guiyang museum and learned a lot about the history and culture of Hannah's province.  We got to see many of the different ethnic groups that make up the province and it was very interesting.  Hannah wasn't realy enthused so she was a letting it be known how bored she was.  It's amazing that a small 15 pound child can be so difficult to hold!  :)  Friday we spent the day packing and at the airport.  The weather was not great so our flight was delayed.  We finally arrived in Guangzhou Friday night, got checked into this awesome hotel, and got a good night's rest.  This morning we went for Hannah's medical exam.  She was a trooper!  She never cried or even whimpered.  She was just happy to see all the people (she's very social).  Thankfully, she did not have to go through the TB test as she is not 2 years old yet.  We got to meet about 11 other Lifeline families that are here with us.  It is great to get to talk with people and compare stories and experiences.  It's also great to see how God is using His people to carry out His plan for these special kids!  Our God is awesome!!

We also got to eat at McDonald's!  Normally, I'm not a big fan but....wow...it was the best thing I've eaten in a while!!  It feels like we are a little closer to home here.  There are American's around, people speak English, and there are restaraunts that we recognize!  We have really enjoyed our time in China, but our other 2 babies are at home and we are so ready to see them!!  Skype is nice, but it's hard to hug and kiss through the computer!!  :)

Here are just a few pictures from the past few days.  We will venture out this afternoon and take more of the area!  Love ya'll!!

Ready for our day getting her medical exam.
There were so many people at the clinic today.  Erik said it felt like they were herding us like cattle.  The lady in grey is Lily.  She is the BEST!  She works very hard for all the families.
This is a picture of the front of our hotel.  It's unreal!
Waterfall at our hotel.
Hannah loves the stroller!  She even wants to sit in it in the room.
We have thought so many times during this trip that Hannah resembles Faith a lot, but here I think she looks like Lydia.  :)  What do you think Patricia?
We enjoyed a nice night in the garden at the hotel.  Hannah is so much fun.  She is full of energy!
